Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a group of genetic conditions that affect the body's connective tissue. It's difficult to diagnose, and some medical students are taught that when you hear the sound of hoofbeats, it's usually a horse, but sometimes it's a zebra.
People with chronic diseases often spend years searching for answers.
