Following in the great Christmas tradition of an all-star sing-a-long, some of Caroline's cows get together to record what they hope will be this year's Christmas number one.

This piece is named after the 1990 song by Liverpudlian band The Farm. Produced by Suggs, lead singer of Madness, the song is about the 1914 Christmas Day Truce in World War One, when soldiers from both sides put down their weapons and met in no-man's land to exchange gifts and play football. It reached No.4 in the Official UK Chart.

All Together Now was commissioned by the author Andrew Burford for the cover of the book 70 Year's of Christmas Number Ones. There are references within the picture to sixteen songs that either became Christmas number ones or are Christmas classics. These are:

  • Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (cow dressed as Freddie Mercury)

  • Let's Have Another Party by Winifred Atwell (Atwell's piano)

  • Mistletoe and Wine by Cliff Richard

  • Hallelujah by Alexandra Burke

  • Walking in the Air (from The Snowman) by Peter Auty / Aled Jones

  • Grandad by Clive Dunn (flat cap)

  • Merry Christmas Everybody by Shakin' Stevens (cow dressed as Shakey in the video to that song)

  • I Love Sausage Rolls by LadBaby (plus three other sausage roll themed songs)

  • I'm Sending a Letter to Santa Claus with versions by Arthur Askey and Gracie Fields

  • Last Christmas by Wham (the presents from the record cover and video)

  • Ernie (the Fastest Milkman in the West) by Benny Hill (milk bottles)

  • Merry Xmas Everyone by Slade (cow dressed as Noddy Holder)

  • Stay Another Day by East 17 (cow dressed as a band member from the video)

  • Mr Blobby by Mr Blobby

  • All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey (cow dressed as Mariah from the video)

  • A Moment Like This by Leona Lewis (and other X-Factor Christmas number ones)

Everyone who purchases a print will also receive a copy of the book. The book is also available to purchase separately at www.christmasno1.co.uk
